According to a report by OSEN, the renowned K-pop idol is currently reviewing the offer to star in the series.
"We have received the proposal and are currently reviewing it," BLISSOO, Jisoo's management agency, confirmed in a statement. Should Jisoo accept the role, it will mark her return to K-dramas following her 2021 debut in Snowdrop.
A Packed Schedule Awaits Jisoo in 2025
The year 2025 is shaping up to be incredibly busy for Jisoo, with several film and television projects lined up. Apart from Monthly Boyfriend, she has already committed to another K-drama titled Newtopia, slated to air next year.
In Newtopia, Jisoo is set to portray the character Kang Young-joo. This will add to her growing list of acting credits, further cementing her as a versatile talent beyond her musical career.

In this apocalyptic fantasy, Jisoo has been offered the role of Lee Ji-hye, a student character intricately connected with Yoo Jong-hyuk, portrayed by Lee Min-hoo.
