Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet's marriage officially ended as a Los Angeles County judge signed off on their divorce. The couple, who had been separated for years, saw the dissolution take effect on Tuesday.
Momoa and Bonet shared a long history before their marriage in 2017. They were together for 12 years and married for seven. Court documents reveal the separation date as October 7, 2020, over three years prior to making their split public in 2022. The divorce proceedings were smooth and uncontested.
Both parties agreed on asset division and financial independence, with neither seeking support. They also settled on joint custody of their children, Lola, and Nakoa-Wolf.
Jason Momoa, is renowned for his roles in the "Aquaman" movies and the TV series "Game of Thrones." Lisa Bonet, 56, gained fame from "The Cosby Show," its spinoff "A Different World," and films like "High Fidelity" and "Enemy of the State."
This was Momoa's first marriage, and he has recently confirmed his relationship with Adria Arjona, known for her roles in "Hit Man" and "Father of the Bride." For Bonet, this was her second marriage. She was previously married to musician Lenny Kravitz, with whom she shares a daughter, actress Zoë Kravitz.
