Harry Potter star Emma Watson has been seen sharing a romantic moment with her new boyfriend, Kieran Brown, a fellow student at Oxford University. On July 1, Emma Watson and Kieran Brown were spotted showing affection at Gail's Bakery in Jericho, Oxford. The couple, dressed in matching light blue button-up shirts, shared a tender kiss, signaling their blossoming romance.
Emma Watson, 34, is currently pursuing a master's degree in literature at Oxford University. It's here that she met Kieran Brown, who is working towards a PhD in 19th-century literature and economics. Their shared academic interests seem to have sparked their connection.
Before Kieran, Emma was in a relationship with Brandon Green, the son of British fashion mogul Sir Philip Green. Emma and Brandon were first linked in September 2021 and enjoyed a romantic vacation in Italy in August 2022. However, their relationship ended, paving the way for Emma's new romance.
Emma Watson has been vocal about her decision to step back from acting to focus on her studies at Oxford. In a December interview with British Vogue, she expressed gratitude for this change, saying,
"I'm so glad that I did because I have this feeling of having my own voice and creative space and sovereignty in some way that I don't think I did before." Growing up in the spotlight, Emma faced unique challenges. She reflected on these experiences.
"I get a front row seat with some of the most successful, beautiful, incredible people in the world. And when you have that seat it becomes very, very clear that there is just absolutely no level of success that will make you in any way happy or content if you do not like who you are or enjoy what you're doing when no one's watching."
