Disney has officially released the first trailer for the highly anticipated live-action remake of the 1937 animated classic Snow White. The teaser, unveiled during the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, offers a glimpse of what fans can expect from this modern reimagining of the beloved fairy tale.

The upcoming Snow White features an impressive cast, with Rachel Zegler stepping into the iconic role of Snow White and Gal Gadot portraying the Evil Queen. The film is slated for a theatrical release on March 21, 2025, and has already generated significant buzz due to its star-studded lineup.

The 1-minute and 17-second teaser opens with Rachel Zegler’s Snow White dancing and singing the classic tune "Whistle While You Work" alongside the seven dwarfs.

The lighthearted and whimsical scene quickly shifts as the trailer introduces Gal Gadot’s Evil Queen, ominously peering into her magic mirror with a menacing presence. This contrast sets the tone for a film that promises to blend the charm of the original with a darker, more intense atmosphere.

Both leading ladies have expressed their excitement about bringing these iconic characters to life. Rachel Zegler shared her enthusiasm during the D23 event, calling the experience "the honor of a lifetime."

She reflected on the joy of embodying a Disney princess, saying, "I think every young person, every little girl, if you get to wear a Disney princess dress and be her for a day, let alone six months, it’s the most amazing experience, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you."

Gal Gadot, known for her roles as powerful heroines, revealed that playing the Evil Queen offered her a chance to explore something completely different. "It’s so much fun to do something so different from anything I’ve done before. She’s delicious, she’s evil, she’s magical. We got to sing all these different songs. It was incredible," Gadot remarked, highlighting the film's musical elements as a major draw.

The live-action Snow White is directed by Marc Webb, known for his work on The Amazing Spider-Man films. The movie will feature songs from the acclaimed musical duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, whose work on The Greatest Showman and Dear Evan Hansen has earned them widespread acclaim.

This combination of experienced direction and fresh, award-winning musical talent is poised to bring a unique flavor to the classic story.
