Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Face $6,000 Tax Lien Amid Separation

Reality star Kyle Richards and her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky are facing financial difficulties amid their ongoing separation.

The couple has been hit with a state tax lien of $6,542, issued by California, affecting their marital home in Encino.

This financial setback follows a history of similar issues for the pair, highlighting a troubling pattern in their financial management.

The Encino Estate and Other Properties

Richards and Umansky purchased their sprawling 10,000-square-foot Encino mansion in 2017 for $8.3 million.

The home, featuring seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, became a focal point of their lives. However, Richards confirmed that Umansky moved out in May, relocating to a luxury condo in West Hollywood, now reportedly neighbors with actor Matt Damon.

The lien, reportedly stemming from 2022 debt, adds to a series of financial issues. The couple had previously faced a $13,707.47 state tax lien in April 2022 for unpaid 2020 taxes, which they settled in July 2022.

Additionally, Umansky's real estate firm, UMRO Realty Corp, operating as The Agency, faced multiple liens totaling tens of thousands of dollars in late 2022 and 2023.

Other Properties and Business Ventures

Aside from their Encino home, Richards and Umansky own several other properties. They purchased a $13.6 million vacation home in Aspen, Colorado, in September 2022, following the sale of a previous property in the area for $7.75 million.

They also own a vacation house in La Quinta, California, acquired in 2014 for $2.35 million, and previously owned a home in Bel Air, which they sold for $6.1 million in 2022.

Umansky's business, The Agency, boasts 115 offices across 12 countries, with significant operations in Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Marina Del Rey, Pasadena, and Sherman Oaks, California. Despite this extensive network, the recent financial troubles have cast a shadow over their real estate empire.

Personal Lives Under Scrutiny

The financial woes come as the couple's personal lives continue to attract public attention. Recently, Umansky was spotted sharing a passionate kiss with 33-year-old Ukrainian-American actress and model Nikita Kahn at the Mykonos airport.

This public display of affection comes amidst ongoing rumors about his relationship status and his separation from Richards.

Meanwhile, Richards has been rumored to be involved with musician Morgan Wade, though she has denied any romantic involvement.

The rumors intensified following Richards' appearance at the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival to support Wade's performance.
