Neymar and Bruna Biancardi have confirmed their breakup, just a month after the birth of their daughter, Mavie. Biancardi announced the news on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, November 28, saying that she and Neymar are no longer in a relationship and are focused on co-parenting their baby girl.
The couple first went public with their romance in April 2022, and briefly split before reconciling in February 2023. They welcomed their first child together, Mavie, on October 6, 2023, and shared several photos of the newborn on their social media accounts. Neymar also has a 12-year-old son, Davi Lucca, from his previous relationship with Caroline Dantas.
Their breakup comes after Neymar faced allegations of cheating on Biancardi with another model, Fernanda Campos, who claimed that she had an affair with the soccer player from November 2022 to June 2023. Neymar did not directly address Campos’ claims, but he posted a lengthy apology to Biancardi on his Instagram in June, saying that he made a mistake and that he needed her in his life. Biancardi did not publicly respond to Neymar’s message, but they appeared together at his charity auction and their daughter’s baby shower later that month.
Neymar, who recently moved to Saudi Arabia after signing a contract with Al-Hilal, has not commented on the split. He is currently recovering from a knee injury that sidelined him for several months. Biancardi, who is based in Brazil, has not revealed the reason for their breakup, but asked for privacy and respect from the media and fans. The former couple have not deleted their photos together from their Instagram accounts, and have not unfollowed each other.
